Hello and welcome to my travel blog. I am a teacher, wife to the best husband, and a mum to three wonderful children. Unlike many other travel blogs, my story doesn’t start with a love of travel from a young age. I’ve always enjoyed holidays, however, the idea of exploring the World on my own or during a gap year was terrifying and not for me. However, since having children, I have grown in confidence and begun to see that I can do it. I can explore the World, and I can (although this is not always easy!) explore the World with my family.
During term time my passion lies in Science education, teaching young adults how the World works. Then the holidays arrive and we, my family and I, leave and go exploring. We have been on city breaks, relaxed on beach holidays and are now exploring Europe in our caravan.
This is a new experience for me… towing a caravan abroad and yet I love it. I have therefore, begun to develop another passion. A passion for life, a passion for learning again, and a passion for taking myself out of my comfort zone and into a life of challenging myself to go further. As Oprah Winfrey once said ‘The biggest adventure you can take is to live the life of your dreams’
In this blog, if you are anything like me, I hope to help you, to also believe in yourself and begin to try something new, maybe travelling further, or for a little longer. Maybe, taking the next step and taking your children with you on your next adventure. And for those of you that have always travelled, I hope to give you new ideas and top tips, to inspire your next adventure.
